Step 3: Sign in to your edX account. The home page will open.

Step 4: Go to the learn button on the top-left side of the home page. A new pop-up menu will open.

Step 5: Click on the “Take a course”. A list of the category of free courses will appear in the first column. Choose the required category.

Step 6: If you didn’t find the required course then click on “View all free courses” at the bottom of the column.

Step 7: Add a filter by checking checkboxes to refine your search result.

Step 8: Search for your required course and click on it.

Step 9: Click on the “Enroll” button.

Step 10: Select free by clicking on continue.

Step 11: Click on Start, and enjoy.

How to Apply for Financial Aid (Getting Certificates of Paid Courses):

The platform offers access to a maximum of its courses for free, but there are still many courses that have to pay to begin.

If you need some of those courses, but you can’t afford them? No worries, this platform also offers financial aid for those courses. By applying for financial aid you can not only access those courses but also you will get the certificate of completion after completing those courses.

Follow these steps for applying for financial aid and getting a certificate:

Step 1: Go to the home page, click your profile picture, and choose “Dashboard”.

Step 2: Choose the course that is already enrolled and click on “Begin Courses”.

Step 3: From course tools. Click “Financial Assistance”.

Step 4: Scroll down and click “Apply for Financial Assistance”.

Step 5: In the Application Details Choose the course, and check out the check boxes.

Step 6: Your application is submitted. You will get a response in 2-4 business days. Click “Go to Dashboard”.
